Tropical birds make rare appearance in Baltimore Harbour

Brown booby

A pair of tropical birds called brown boobies have made a rare visit to Baltimore Harbor, attracting hundreds of birders . These seabirds are usually found in the Caribbeans and are not likely to hang around for long and they will head back south once the temperature gets colder than what they are comfortable with. Phil Davis of the Maryland Ornithological Society says the brown boobies likely came along with the Gulf Stream.
